The P. Buckley Moss Museum

The P. Buckley Moss Museum is located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in Waynesboro, Virginia. Built in 1989, the Museum closely resembles many of the larger homes built by early 19th century settlers. It is an appropriate setting for exhibiting the work of renowned artist Patricia Buckley Moss.

The P. Buckley Moss Museum houses the permanent collection of Pat's work offering a retrospective tour of her art and life. The Museum collection also includes religious art, the Virginia collection, and other modernistic styles not commonly associated with Pat's art.

The Museum is handicap accessible. Tours and films of Pat's life and work are available on request. Special children's tours or large group tours are also available, though we ask that you call ahead for a reservation if you need a group tour. A retail gallery located on the lower level carries a wide variety of prints and other gift items. Admission is free.

The P. Buckley Moss Museum is located in Waynesboro, Virginia approximately two blocks south of I-64, Exit 94 on U.S. 340. (U.S. 340 is also referred to as 150 P. Buckley Moss Drive or 2150 Rosser Avenue).

The 20th Anniversary Monthly Mystery Winner and Grand Prize Winner

Win!  Win!  Win!

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the P. Buckley Moss Museum, we will reward a Monthly Mystery Guest with a prize of a $50.00 gift certificate.  The gift certificates will be given from February through December, 2009.

How it Works:
We have chosen in advance a day and a visitor number for each remaining month this year.  On that chosen day each month, our receptionist on duty will count the visitors and identify the visitor who matches the previously chosen visitor number.  For example, if February 19th is the chosen day and Visitor Number 6 is the chosen visitor, the receptionist will present the 6th visitor on February 19th with a package containing the gift certificate.

The randomly selected dates and visitor numbers are known only to a select few staff members—and they are unbribable!  Of course, they are also ineligible to win the prize.

Be our 600,000th Visitor

The P. Buckley Moss Museum is celebrating its 20th year.  We are looking for the 600,000th visitor to walk through the front door!  The 600,000th visitor will receive a $500 Gift Certificate for use in the Museum Gift Shop.

So, stop in frequently and maybe YOU will be the Monthly Mystery Winner or better yet, the 600,000th Visitor and Grand Prize Winner.
