Court House Chorus portrays the Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir performing at the holiday tree lighting ceremony in front of the Rockingham County Courthouse, Harrisonburg, Virginia. The choir is part of the Preparatory Music Department at Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg. Julia J. White, who founded the choir in 1992, continues as its artistic director and is present in the print along with the choristers. The choir frequently performs in national and international concerts, including the 1997 Pageant of Peace National Christmas Tree Lighting in Washington, DC.
Part of the proceeds from this print donated to the Shenandoah Valley Children’s Choir.
