The Farmer’s Hall, built in 1826 in Pendleton, South Carolina, is the oldest farmer’s hall in continuous use in the country. The Pendleton Farmer’s Society, formed in 1815 to promote and develop better agricultural methods, still meets in the second floor meeting hall.
