Along with Pat’s signature geese, this print features The Whalehead Club in Corolla, North Carolina. In 1925, wealthy visitors who came to the area to hunt waterfowl built the club. Seven years ago, the county purchased the club. Currently, a $5.6 million restoration effort is underway. Once finished, the restored 35-room clubhouse on 38 acres could draw 200,000 visitors a year.
