Little Red Schoolhouse Revisited reminds us of times when children traveled by horsedrawn carriage to learn in a one-room schoolhouse. The Little Red Schoolhouse in Poland, Ohio, was built in 1858 and served the community for 57 years. After the school closed in 1915, the building served many purposes, including a church and a women’s sewing circle to help during the war effort. The building is now maintained by the historical society.
